Usage Tips
For any printed document use the "print" versions in PNG
format- never use the WEB/GIF versions. When inserting into your
document, the logos may appear larger than expected/needed in your target
application. This is fine. Its best to start with an image that's
bigger than you need and scale it down within the target
document rather than scale up a smaller version. You really notice the
difference when printing.
When scaling,
try to scale the image proportionally (select the image, then hold shift
and drag a corner handle in msword or ppt to resize). Thiis way you don't
accidentally distort the image.
For web use the
web/72dpi versions. Avoid scaling these using the height and width
parameters on the image tag. That yields poor results since the browser is
scaling them. A better approach is to use a graphics tool and again scale
down only. Scaling up will give grainy results. If you need a larger web
version, you could start with the 3x6 high rez version, convert to 72 dpi
at 4x current size then scale down and export. Use these gif logos for
websites ONLY. They are 72 dpi and will look grainy if used for print
even if not scaled.
For very small logo
uses, we suggest you use the version without the surrounding type.

HELP with Downloads
Print Versions: If
you click the links for individual files (rather than download the zip
archive) under the print versions, the logo may show up 4x its stated
print size in the browser since the browser displays it at 72 dpi
instead of 300dpi. This is normal. Simply follow the directions
below to download to your disk Or alternatively download the zip archive.
Web
Versions: The individual WEB resolution images will appear at their FULL
actual size in your browser. Follow the instructions below ot download
them to your disk once they appear in your browser
window.
ZIP Archives: The zip archives will be downloaded
in the folder defined under your browsers preferences in the "downloads"
section. If you can't find them, search on "ldcmLogoPrint" or "ldcmLogoWeb"
to find the zip files. If the zip files didn't automatically decompress,
double click them or drag and drop them onto you unzip utiltiy. They will
decompress into folders containing all needed versions.
